A Rabbit?Take a closer look.
When i was around 11 or 12, or younger, not sure, i heard that there was a rabbit on the moon. It took me some time to see how it has a rabbit on the moon.
When i realised, it was a happy moment. I was overjoyed that i found it. A huge grey rabbit, sleeping on the moon, as if it was sleeping in it's burrow. Whenever i saw the moon, i always concentrated on the rabbit and very rarely on the other parts. Very rarely, I would try looking at the moon with a celestial point of view, tried viewing it as a 3-d sphere. It was a small interval that i saw it was a sphere, the rest of the time, i saw it like a circle.
It was today, that i was looking at the moon. It was the only object in the sky. There was nothing else; no clouds, no stars nor any aeroplanes. And it somehow totally caught my attention. It's dim yellow glow along with it's fullness and aura, made me stare at it like a dog staring at a bone. It made me go back to try viewing it as a sphere. In this process, i noticed something else about the moon. All this time, i thought the moon only had a rabbit. But today, i saw a face. It was as i the rabbit was only a cover of sorts. Behind it, with careful observation, i found that there was a face. It looked like a face with the head turned down, as if it was sad or ashamed. The forehead was big, the nose was pointy and the mouth was showing a grim expression. It looked as if, the moon, pretending to be merry, was a sad thing. It looked as if the moon was sad because of it's loneliness.
But it glows to keep us happy. It makes an aura which has a power to heal any mental injury. And yet, it feels lonely. Only if it had known that so many people derive happiness from it, i am sure, i would see a smiling face, with a small forehead and a head raised high.
