Despair

Despair

Its easy how one can lose hope just like that; in a mere second.
Trying and trying to build it up and when it reaches the top, it topples.. A moment, when all hope is lost, all that is left is despair.
Tiny birds return every season. This time two pairs did. One building their nest in their regular spot. The new one, on a window sill. They hand all the skill, but how could they build one without space. With hope, they gathered a heap of grass to make a nest.
They tried and tried. It did not stay. They left their "nest" and went away; did not return for a day or two.
The next day when they returned, on a rainy afternoon, expecting warmth, all they found was a wooden plank, cutting right angles at the corner. Their home was gone. Chirping in despair, though melodious it was, the intensity of sadness and despair was clear in their chirps. The tiny bird's home toppled.

Hades' Bane

Hades' Bane

A time came when Hades got bored
Of all his old duties and hellhold chores,
Got tired of Persephone's moans,
Was neck deep in soul loans.
Then the hellhound groaned
And his  head roared
With an idea that would make him soar
High above heaven's door.
He decided to ram
The whole world with exam.
A reason he gave and it ran,
That Pandora opened that mystic can.
One by one, my comrades fell;
Their souls going to hell.
Hades' loans were cleared
And he was feared,
By God and Earthy Men.

When it all fails......

When it all fails

There may be a time when Hope will fail.
A time when Will is lost.
A time when Fear will take over and become a boss.

There may be a time when Darkness will enshroud.
A time when Despair is aroused

But fear not that time.
For there will be a saviour,
Who is born to savor,
The very flesh of Darkness and Despair.

With the sword of Fire in one hand,
A staff of Light in the other,
Like a flash of thunder,
He shall come, with a blaze of his own.

Unknowingly will he cast his spell,
On this dwelling hell,
Ringing an angelic bell,
Darkness' knell.

A quiver of arrows, he will shoot
Towards Despair's boot,
Making it hoot,
And rot in a moor.

Having armed himself with a Shield Of Gold,
He will be there, standing bold,
Protecting you from the Fear, ten fold,
Standing gaurd until he is old.

Then he will leave,
Relieved from his duty.
Gone to live his life,
Armed only with a mere knife.

Another one shall take his place,
Trained by his master ace,
This one armed with a mace,
Smashing the enemy's face, with greater pace,
Protecting you with everlasting grace.

The Awkward moment in a galaxy far far away!

The Awkward moment in a galaxy far far away

In a galaxy far far away, there are awkward situations. A jedi who cannot feel the force, a stormtrooper who can't fly a jet.........
This is one such "Awkward" situation.
10 storm troopers, newly invested to their posts, decide to party. They plan on going to the Mos Eisley Cantina for celebrating their new job.
~Mos Eisley jazz group- plays cantina tune~
Storm trooper 1:- No phones shall be used today. No superior commands for now. Lets celebrate. I propose a toast.
The rest:- TOAST!

After half hour of chat and 4 spoons of ketchup, the storm troopers plan on starting their lunch. Storm trooper 4, just is case and fortunately, asks the barman the cost of food.
Barman:- 400 per person.

The shocked and dumbstruck stormtroopers are cornered. They do not know what to do. They sit down calmly and decide plans of escape. The imperial storm troopers are cornered. They can't use their power. They're new. They plan on moving away 3 by 3, turn by turn.

Just then, a really pissed, smiling barman comes to them and says:
Barman:- Sir, you have to have your food.
Storm trooper1:- give us 5 minutes.
Barman:- Do not worry, we'l give you 15% discount on your food.

The awkward moment arrived, but it was a moment of joy for the troopers.

Those days

Those days

Those days when i feel sad;
Those days when i feel bad

Those days when i feel ill;
Those days when i have no will.

Those days when i feel mad'
Those days when i am sorrow-clad.

Those days when i feel all alone;
Those days when i have no backbone.

Those days when i feel insecure;
Those days when i feel unsure.

Those days when i feel lazy;
Those days when life is too hazy.

Those days when i wonder why;
Those days when i look to the sky.

Those days when i shut god;
Those days when i burn hot.

Those days are not just mine, Those days are not done;
They shine on everyone, just like the sun

Time Flies

Time Flies

I've known him since he was a small baby.
He surely does not recognise me now, or he does maybe.
But time plays a strange game.
Flies when we don't want it to.
Crawls when we want it to.

He is 16 now.
From a stage of complete muteness,
to a stage of uttering big words,
Time was by his side, Flying every moment.

From a stage of not being able to sit,
To a stage of running on his two legs,
Time was by his side, Flying every moment.

It may be a co-incidence or a paradox,
That time was flying, even for me, a completely different person.
From the moment of beginning a new journey,
To a moment of almost completing it,
Time played, its strange game.

At moments, it seemed like  a month went by in a jiffy.
At moments, it seemed like a day went by in an aeon.
But when i look back, everything that happened in a year,
Seems like all of it happened yesterday.
